| Wickenburg Sun (Wickenburg, Arizona) Thursday, September 20, 1979, p. 1 Casa Grande woman killed in U.S.-60 accident A nineteen-year-old Casa Grande woman was fatally injured Friday when a foreign-made pick up in which she was a passenger left U.S.-60 about one mile east of Wickenburg and overturned. Vicki Lynn Lehman was pronounced dead at Wickenburg Community Hospital after she and the driver of the truck, Ronald Gregory Gibson, 21, also of Casa Grande, were ejected from the vehicle as it overturned. Department of Public Safety officials said cause of the accident was apparent "inattention on the part of the driver failing to perceive a vehicle which had slowed to make a left turn." Miss Lehman and Gibson were rushed from the scene of the accident to Community Hospital by Associated Ambulance, where Miss Lehman died of head injuries. Gibson was reported in serious condition Monday morning at the hospital. See Also: Find A Grave |
