| Prescott Weekly Courier, Prescott, Arizona Territory Friday, November 11, 1911, page 4, column 1 At 2 o'clock yesterday morning, Mrs. Mattie Brannen, was found in her room in an unconscious condition. Dr. McNally was called in and did all possible to save the unfortunate woman, who had taken morphine with suicidal intent. She died about 8 o'clock yesterday morning. --------------------------------- Arizona Weekly Journal Miner, Prescott, Arizona Territory Wednesday, November 9, 1898, page 3, column 4 Mrs. Brannon, wife of Conductor Brannen, of the S.F. & P.P. railroad, committed suicide last night by using morphine. She was found in an unconscious condition at 2 o'clock this morning, when medical was summoned but she was beyond human aid and died at 8 o'clock this morning. An inquest was held, the verdict being accordance with the above. |
