| Prescott Journal-Miner, Prescott, Arizona Wednesday, October 10, 1914, page 5, column 6 Sad Death Of Mexican Boy Marciso Estara (sic Estrada), a Mexican youth of only eighteen years of age, passed away yesterday afternoon after an illness of over four months, due to dropsy. His death has occasioned expressions of sorrow among the Mexican colony of the city, his industry being such that through his efforts his parents were given assistance and notwithstanding his age, he was desirous of providing for himself and exerted a will to that end, which was attributed to his being stricken down with poor health. This boy was a packer in and out of the city, and never faltered in his duty, in either rain or shine. His remains are at Ruffner's. Transcriber's note: Mr. Estrada is buried in an unmarked grave at the Citizens Cemetery in Prescott, Arizona. |
