Prescott Morning Courier, Prescott, Arizona Territory Wednesday, February 3, 1904, page 3, column 2 The funeral of the late Morris Parker, who died at Mercy hospital, Feb. 1, 1905 (sic 1904), will take place from Logan's undertaking parlor at 9:30 today. The remains will be shipped to Athens, Ohio. S.G. Johnson will accompany the remains. Deceased was an old time and highly respected mining man of this section. His death was quite unexpected, and was from pneumonia. He quite recently sold a group of claims in the Bigbug section to the Alto Mining company. He was 59 years of age, a native of Ohio, and has two brothers living in Athans, Ohio.
