Today's News-Herald, Lake Havasu City, AZ >>> Published on Saturday, August 12, 2017 <<< M. Jean Macauley, 81, passed away July 28, 2017 in Las Vegas, Nevada. Jean was born April 25, 1936 in Kansas. She was raised in southern California and later moved to Las Vegas with her husband, Mac, where they raised their five children. After retiring to Lake Havasu City in 1998, she was actively involved with the Lake Havasu City Historical Society & Museum and Friends of the Library. She enjoyed sewing, reading and drawing. In November 2016 she moved back to Las Vegas. Jean is survived by her children Laureen, Ken (Judy), Don (Lynette), Kathy, and Karen; eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren; two sisters Darlyne and Carol, and one brother Dean. Jean made many friends in Havasu. She will be remembered for her great love of life and family and her beautiful smile. She will be deeply missed. Services were private. Donations in her memory can be made to The Nathan Adelson Hospice, 4141 Swenson St., Las Vegas, NV 89119.
