| Arizona Republic (Phoenix, AZ) Sunday, February 26, 2017 Dennis "Denny" Rezek, 82, of Black Canyon City, AZ passed away peacefully at home on February 14, 2017. Born in 1934 to Joe & Hilda Rezek in Wahoo, NE. Denny moved to Phoenix, AZ in 1957 where he opened Denny's Motors. After much success in the car business, he became interested in land sales & real estate investment. In 1972 he moved to New River, AZ where he lived until relocating to Black Canyon City, AZ in 1990. In his later years, he split his time between his homes in AZ & UT. Preceded in death by his parents and son, John Rezek; Denny is survived by two daughters: Peggy Erickson & Rhonda Rezek; three grandchildren: Anna Moritz, Axel Erickson, & Petty Ofc. John Cameron Rezek, U.S. Navy; his brother, Don Rezek; & sister, Joann Dexter. Please join us as we celebrate Denny's life & share memories on Sunday, March 5, 2017 at his home, 33400 S Ridgeway Rd, Black Canyon City, AZ 85324. There will be an open house from 4:00-8:00PM during which a formal eulogy & opportunity for those who would like to speak will be held from 6:00-7:00PM.
