| Arizona Weekly Journal-Miner, Prescott, Arizona Territory Wednesday, April 22, 1896, page 3, column 3 (From Thursday's Daily) Thomas Mooney, an inmate of the county hospital, aged 35 years, died last night of diabetes. He had been sick for about two months. He had resided here for several years, and only yesterday received a ticket from friends in Los Angeles for him to go there.
