| Prescott Weekly Courier, Prescott, Arizona Territory Friday, November 11, 1904, page 5, column 2 A coroner's inquest was held yesterday on the remains of Jesus Moralles, the Mexican who died at the county hospital yesterday from the effects of a gunshot wound received at the home of Mrs. Horne, out beyond the military reservation a few days ago. The evidence of Mrs. Horne and his dying statement to Mrs. Roekel at the hospital tended to prove that he was shot by Bob Weyms, known as the 'Irish Lord,' and the jury so found Weyms was held to answer. Transcriber's note: Mr. Moralles is buried at the Citizens Cemetery in Prescott, Arizona. See Also: Arizona Gravestone Photo Project |
