Bernard Edward (Bud) Tonnesen

Bernard (Bud) Edward Tonnesen, was born in Cotati, California, Aug.
10, 1925. He passed Aug. 10, 2017, at the age of 92.

Bud enlisted in the Army Air Corps in March 1943 and served his
country until his honorable discharge on Oct. 29, 1945. He attended
Gold Gate College specializing in law and accounting. He then worked
for the U.S. Treasury Department and retired after 31 years.

Bud had three children and three grandchildren. In 1982 he married
Josephine McGovern and with her two children and 14 grandchildren,
his family was greatly increased.

A memorial service will be at 10 a.m. Friday, Aug. 25, 2017, at
Heritage Memory Mortuary, 131 Grove Ave., in Prescott. A graveside
with Military Honors will follow at 11 a.m. at the Prescott National
Cemetery in Prescott.

He will be greatly missed.
