| The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona Sunday, August 20, 2017, pages 6a/7a Richard H. Neal, 79, of Prescott, Arizona, passed away on Saturday, Aug. 5, 2017, at Marley House Hospice in Prescott. Richard, known as Dick, was born Aug. 29, 1937, in Dayton, Ohio, to Wade and Sadie Neal. Dick was dad to Kim and big brother to John, who both preceded him in death. Dick attended Ohio University, and returned to the Dayton area where he married and had his daughter. He once served as Mayor of Union, Ohio. He began working for Xerox Corporation in Dayton and eventually moved to Xerox headquarters in Connecticut where he became Director of Operations for the Caribbean & Central America. Later in life Dick married Betty Johnson, a high school friend, and they made their home in Prescott after Dick retired from Xerox. Dick became a real estate broker in Prescott. He was an avid and excellent golfer throughout his life. He is survived by his sister-in-law, Rosemarie Neal; niece, Kristina Neal of Washington, D.C.; nephews, Aaron, Jared, and Jason Neal of Utah; good friends, Brian Hussey, Tom Thurman, and Ron Smith, as well as other friends and acquaintances.
