Greg Walz, 56, was born in Denver on Aug. 31, 1961, and he passed
away on Aug. 17, 2017, in Prescott, Arizona.

Greg’s parents moved in 1979 from Cortez, Colorado, to Wyoming, two
years later returning to Colorado. Greg continued to live and work
at Big Horn Enterprises in Thermopolis, Wyoming. Eleven years later,
in 1991, Greg moved to Prescott, Arizona, to be near his family.
Greg became a resident of the Hozhoni Foundation, which has since
been his home and employment. Greg has lived a full, meaningful
life. He has been surrounded and encouraged by family and friends
who have helped him live a quality of life, despite his
disabilities.

Greg is survived by his parents, Larry and Clara Walz of Prescott,
Arizona; and his sister, Linda Walz, also a resident of the Hozhoni
Foundation, in Prescott, Arizona; five uncles, an aunt and numerous
cousins scattered throughout other states.

Greg was preceded in death by his grandparents, Art and Ruth Walz
and Henry and Hazel Baker; an aunt, Shirley Bishop; an uncle, Larry
Baker; and an infant uncle, Charles Baker.

A Celebration of Life Service will be at 2 p.m., on Saturday, Aug.
26, 2017, at Willow Hills Southern Baptist Church, 1071 Mogollon
Road, Prescott.

Greg’s parents, Larry and Clara, wish to give special recognition
and thanks to the Hozhoni Foundation and its outstanding, caring
employees. The Walzes also wish to thank the volunteers at Horses
With H.E.A.R.T., the Special Olympics (bowling, track & field and
skiing while in Colorado), the Willow Hills So. Baptist Church
Special-Needs Ministry, and the Prescott-area Special-Needs
community and agencies who provide many fulfilling opportunities and
help for the people they serve.
