Judith Ann (Walton) Johnson

Judith Ann Johnson, 78, of Prescott, Arizona, passed away on Aug.
16, 2017. Judy was born on Aug. 1, 1939, in Kansas City, Kansas, to
Laurene and James Walton.

She moved to Prescott at the age of 12, following the premature
death of her father. Judy married her husband, Stephen D. Johnson,
on Jan. 28, 1960.

Judy is survived by her husband, Steve; and their three daughters,
Lisa Loyd, Lori Johnson, and Jody Jimenez. They also have four
grandchildren and one great grandchild.

She graduated from ASU with a Bachelor’s degree in Education. Judy
was a fourth-generation proud and active member of PEO Chapter DX,
initiated in Mesa, Arizona in 1965. Judy had a love for adventure
and travel that she shared with her husband Steve. Judy was an avid
outdoorswoman and loved camping, hiking, back packing, kayaking,
canoeing, river rafting in Grand Canyon, and off-road adventures.

No services are planned at this time. At a later date, there will be
a private ceremony to scatter her ashes at Shoshone Point at the
Grand Canyon.
