| The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona Sunday, August 27, 2017, page 5a Betty Jane A. Wolfe passed away on Aug. 18, 2017, in Greenwood Village, Colorado. Betty Jane was born in Buffalo, New York, and was raised by her adoptive parents in the suburbs. Betty married Harold Wolfe while he was still in the U.S. Navy in WWII, in November 1944, and they had their only child, Jim, in December 1945. They moved to Scottsdale, Arizona, in 1959 and had a second home built in Prescott, Arizona, in 1970. Betty Jane and Harold retired to Prescott in 1980. Following Harold’s death in 2012, Betty moved to Colorado to be close to her son’s family. Betty is survived by her son, Jim, and daughter-in-law, Beverly, of Highlands Ranch, Colorado; two grandchildren, Susan Will of Aurora, Colorado, and Thomas Wolfe of Cheyenne, Wyoming; and two great- grandchildren, Tristan and Kaedan Will of Aurora, Colorado. A Memorial Service will be held at 10 a.m. on Aug. 31, at Brookdale Assisted Living, 6450 S. Boston St., Greenwood Village, Colorado, 80111. Information provided by survivors. |
