| Prescott Journal Miner, Prescott, Arizona Territory Tuesday, July 20, 1915, page 5, column 2 Carl Hedger Is Suddenly Called Carl Hedger, who arrived from Phoenix last Saturday, to seek a change in climate while seriously ill with Bright's disease, passed away yesterday, much to the surprise as well as sorrow of his many friends in Prescott. His affliction was of recent date. Mr. Hedger was heavily interested in lands of Salt River valley, and recognized as a builderup of his section. He was a member of the Phoenix Lodge of Elks, and the local lodge today will take charge of the remains, which will be shipped home this afternoon for burial. He leaves a widow, who was at his side when the summons came. He was a native of Kentucky, aged about 41 years.
