Carl Hedger Is Suddenly Called
Carl Hedger, who arrived from Phoenix last Saturday, to seek a
change in climate while seriously ill with Bright's disease, passed
away yesterday, much to the surprise as well as sorrow of his many
friends in Prescott. His affliction was of recent date.
Mr. Hedger was heavily interested in lands of Salt River valley, and
recognized as a builderup of his section.
He was a member of the Phoenix Lodge of Elks, and the local lodge
today will take charge of the remains, which will be shipped home
this afternoon for burial.
He leaves a widow, who was at his side when the summons came. He
was a native of Kentucky, aged about 41 years.
Transcriber's note: Mr. Hedger is buried at the Greenwood Lawn
Memorial Cemetery in Phoenix, Arizona.
