F. Nevin, the undertaker. All friends and members of the Eagles' are invited. ----------------- Prescott Morning Courier, Prescott, Arizona Territory Monday, December 11, 1905, page 3, column 2 Local News - The funeral of the late Charles Shields took place from the I.O.O.F. hall yesterday afternoon under the auspices of the local lodge of the Eagles. Frank Nevin was the funeral director. ------------------ Prescott Weekly Courier, Prescott, Arizona Territory Friday, December 15, 1905, page 3, column 2 Charles Shields, of this city, died of dropsy at the Mercy hospital the morning of December 7, 1905. He came from Colorado to this city about four years ago. He was a good citizen, having the respect of all who knew him. He leaves a widow. The funeral will take place tomorrow under the auspices of local lodge of Eagles. Transcriber's note: Mr. Shields is buried in an unmarked grave at the Citizens Cemetery. He is listed on the original plot map of the cemetery. |
