Vicki Jean Briggle, 72, passed peacefully with her three sons and 
family at her bedside Aug. 22, 2017. She had endured a long battle 
with COPD.

She was a loving mother and grandmother who was an excellent cook 
and enjoyed preparing a variety of meals for family and friends to 
share together. Vicki had an open, selfless heart for those in need 
of help. Her favorite thing to do was spend time with her three 
sons, grandchildren and great- grandchildren.

Vicki was predeceased by her husband, Zelle Briggle. She is survived 
by her brother James (Doris) Pennington, three children: Stan (Sue) 
Capelli, John (Denise) Capelli, and Michael Capelli. Vicki also will 
be lovingly remembered by her four grandchildren: Jarette Capelli, 
Shelbey (Bowie) Jeffries, Austin Capelli, Ariel Capelli and her two 
great-grandchildren, Jack Jeffries and Oliver Jeffries

A memorial service celebrating Vicki’s life set for 3 p.m. to 6 
p.m., Friday, Sept. 1, at Poinsettia Pavilion’s Santa Paula Room, 
3451 Foothill Road, Ventura, CA 93003.
