| Today's News-Herald, Lake Havasu City, AZ >>> Published on Wednesday, September 13, 2017 <<< Freda Ruth Cooper, 95, passed away Sept. 6, 2017. She was born March 2, 1922 in Rockport, West Virginia, the daughter of Frank and Ruth Robinson. Freda, her husband and two sons moved to Flagstaff in May 1957. In 1965, they moved to Lake Havasu City; she had resided here since that time. Freda attended First Southern Baptist Church and has worked with the Retired Seniors Volunteer Program (R.S.V.P.) since 1980 at the local food bank. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Emmett Cooper, who passed away in 1979. Freda is survived by her sons James L. Cooper of Lake Havasu City and Eugene L. Cooper of Kingman, sisters Mary E. White of Poland, Ohio and Ada M. Franklin of Parkersburg, West Virginia, brother Clarence O. Robinson of Parkersburg, West Virginia, seven loving grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. A service for Freda is set for 10 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 13 at Lietz- Fraze Funeral Home. Services were placed in the care of Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home.
