BRUMMETT, James Calvin

Memorial services for James Calvin Brummett were held at the First Baptist Church in Superior on Dec. 31. Mr. Brummett went to be with the Lord on Dec. 28, 2001, at his home in Superior. 

His son, James Calvin II, preceded him in death. 

Mr. Brummett is survived by his wife, Sylvia of Superior; sons, Gary (Elaine) Brummett of Skagway, Alaska, and Joe (Lois) Brummett of Deer Park, Washington; a daughter, Susan (Larry) Jessup of Tucson; a brother, William (Karolyn) Brummett of Carlsbad, New Mexico; 10 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews and friends. 

Mr. Brummett was a veteran of World War II and was a member of the First Baptist Church. 

Pastor Bill Brice officiated.
