On Sept. 10, 2017, Ron Lockhart passed away unexpectedly at Havasu
Regional Medical Center at the young age of 67. Ron was a Lake
Havasu City resident and a favorite, friendly face at the Ace
Hardware North store.

The son of Arlie Hatfield and Delphene Elizabeth Lockhart, Ron
joined the Navy out of high school and proudly served his country.
Ron married his first wife, Deborah Fischenich in 1970 and they had
two daughters, Tami and Michelle. Ron was a loving father and gave
strength to his daughters.

Ron built on his foundation with the Lord while attending New Tribes
Bible Institute and then Bible Baptist College. He believed
Ephesians 2:8-9. He had a long-time career in retail sales and
management, most recently with the local hardware store in Lake
Havasu. Ron would always help his customers with an honest opinion.
He enjoyed time with family and friends, fishing, woodwork in his
shop, a Raiders game, NASCAR, and building his model cars into a
very large collection.

Ron married Vicki Lorkvic in 1994. This year they happily celebrated
23 years of marriage. Ron helped raise Vicki’s daughter, Alexis. To
Alexis, he was her dad.

Ron was widely known and will live on in the hearts of many. He is
survived by his wife, Vicki Lockhart of Lake Havasu City, and her
daughter and husband Alexis and Travis Billiet of Glendale, Arizona;
his two daughters and their husbands – Michelle and Jamie McMurray
of Las Vegas, and Tami and Jake Nielsen of Coeur d’Alene, Idaho; his
brother and his wife Russell and Frankie Lockhart of Everett,
Washington; and his sister and her husband Sharon and Hank Fast of
Yucaipa, California. He will be kept in the hearts of his
grandchildren – Devin, Blake, Bryce, Austin, Gabe, Isaiah and
Zachariah, as well as his five nieces and nephews.

On Saturday, Sept. 23, family and friends will celebrate Ron
Lockhart via Facebook. Wherever you live, we ask that you take a
moment, an hour, or the entire day to celebrate him! Go fishing,
make a hobby car, have a toast in his honor, pray, do something he
