William E. Lansford

William E. Lansford passed away in Lake Havasu City in the arms of
his beloved wife, Reda, on Sept. 11, 2017 after a brief struggle
with cancer.

Bill was born at Pomona Valley Hospital in California on April 18,
1949, son of William Eugene Lansford and Patricia (Reeder) Lansford.

He attended Charter Oak High School in Covina, California,
graduating in 1967. He attended Mount San Antonio College in Walnut,
California, where he played baseball as a pitcher. He will always be
remembered for his 95 mph fastball! He later became very active in
AA and recently earned his 25 year AA medallion chip. While in AA,
Bill helped others with addiction, never giving up hope on anyone.
He was known for his warm smile, quiet disposition and big hugs.

In 2015, Bill and Reda retired to Lake Havasu City to spend time
with his son, William, grandchildren, and family. He never missed a
Thursday fishing day with his son. Bill adored his family.

Bill is survived by his wife and best friend, Reda (Kizarr)
Lansford, whom he married Oct. 17, 1981, and son, William (Marcy)
Lansford. He was blessed with four grandchildren: Ryan, Kyle, Ella,
and Jace. He also is survived by his brothers Tom Lansford and Scott
Lansford and sisters Melody Newcombe and Lisa Lansford Smith.

A celebration of Bill’s life is Sunday, Oct. 29 at 1 p.m.at the
London Bridge Resort, 1477 Queens Bay, Lake Havasu City, Arizona
86403. Remembrances can be made to Project Healing Waters Fly
Fishing in the name of Bill Lansford.

Services were placed in the care of Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home.
