Today's News-Herald, Lake Havasu City, AZ >>> Published on Wednesday, October 4, 2017 <<< Bill J. Newman, 79, of Lake Havasu City passed away on Sept. 19, 2017. He was born Sept. 26, 1937 in Heavner, Oklahoma. Bill lived on the central coast of California, where he farmed for more than 40 years. He and his wife moved to Lake Havasu City 15 years ago where they enjoyed many wonderful winters together and traveled during the summer months in their motor home. Bill is survived by his loving wife Diana Newman, brother Harvey (Linda) Newman, sons Steve (Jayne) Newman and Ronnie Newman, three stepsons Brian (Holly) Thomas, Ronnie (Stacy) Thomas and Rodney (Frankie) Thomas, as well as many grandchildren and great- grandchildren. A private celebration of life will be held at a later date. Services were placed in the care of Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home.
