WAARA, William Edward Maurice

The Prescott Courier, Prescott, Arizona Tuesday, December 5, 1978, page 12a William E. M. Waara William Edward Maurice Waara, 64, died in Bridgeport, Conn. on Nov. 26. A native of Prescott, Mr. Waara was a member of the Armitage family who came to Prescott in 1891. He was a graduate of Prescott High School and attended the California Institute of Technology in Pasadena, Calif., and the University of California at Los Angeles. In recent years he has made his home in Bridgeport, Conn. Survivors include a sister and brother-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Howard J. Whitlock and two nieces and two nephews. Graveside services will be held Wednesday at 3 p.m. at Mountain View Cemetery with Dr. H. Allan Smyth officiating. Arrangements were made by the Hampton Funeral Home.
