Katie Lee (Ray) Killman, entered eternal life on April 28, 2017 at her Wellton home.

Katie was preceded in death by her parents William Ellen & John Martin Ray and her husband, Floyd H Killman Sr.

Katie was born in Jerwyn (sic: Jermyn) (Jack County), Texas on August 23, 1932. After graduation from Claude Union High School (Claude, Texas) in 1949, Katie married Floyd Killman. Katie touched many people during her life in the Wellton-Mohawk Valley. Throughout her life, Katie served as a caregiver for friends, family, and those in need. From 1955 to 1992, Katie worked at various and varied businesses and jobs in the Valley. Whether it involved getting a payroll completed at WMI&DD, unloading trucks, or serving as the first Town Clerk for the Town of Wellton; Katie was up to the challenge. Even after her retirement, Katie continued to prepare taxes for people free of charge.

Katie enjoyed playing cards with friends and family. A Diamondbacks game could always catch her attention.

Katie is survived by her sons Floyd H "Bill" (Suzi) Killman Jr. of Wickenburg and Larry (Cindy) Killman of Wellton, two grandchildren Candis (Trevor) Snell of Chandler and Lucas (Annie) Killman of Wellton, one great-grandchild Aria Killman of Wellton and 12 nieces, nephews and cousins.

A Celebration of Katie's Life will take place at Tier Drop RV Park (28320 E County 11th Street) on Saturday, May 6, 2017 at 2:00PM. The officiate will be Tony Syck.

Katie's family would like to express their gratitude to Mary Lou Biamonte for her sympathetic and professional care of their tenacious, spirited and vibrant mother during these last months. Lynn Hoskins also provided specialized care for several years and the family would like to thank her...
