| Arizona Republic (Phoenix, AZ) Wednesday, May 1, 1985, p. D2 W. Harvey "Corky" Ross, 71, retired operating engineer, died April 28, 1985, at St. Joseph's Hospital and Medical Center. Mr. Ross, of Phoenix, was brought to Arizona as an infant from Calexico, Calif., where he was born. He was a heavy equipment operating engineer for several construction companies for 45 years until his retirement in 1975. He was a member of Operating Engineers Local #428, Loyal Order of Moose Lodge, and past president of Horseless Carriage Club. Survivors include his wife, Lucretia "Lou" Ross; step-daughters, Betty Harmon, Kathy, Anita Sikora, Wanda Dushong, Dorothy Snyder, Linda Carey, and Barbara Carey; sons, Richard Harvey and George James; step-son, Victor Carey; 24 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. Friends may call from 5 to 9 p.m. today at A.L. Moore & Sons, 333 W. Adams. Graveside service will be 10 a.m. Thursday at Greenwood Memorial Park, 2300 W. Van Buren. See Also: Find A Grave |
