| Reno Gazette-Journal (Reno, Nevada) Thursday, February 8, 1979, p. 43 Carson City--Raymond Richard Ross, 64, a resident of Carson City for the last 10 years, died Monday in a Reno Hospital. He was born January 10, 1915, in Calexico, Calif., and was employed by the Bureau of Indian Affairs, Stewart, as a construction superintendent. Ross was a Navy veteran of World War II, having served with the Navy Air Corps. Survivors include his widow, Katherine of Carson City; sons, Robert and Richard and a daughter, Del Rae Schwimmer, all of Prescott, Ariz.; brother, Harvey of Phoenix; sister, Opal Scott of Las Vegas; and nine grandchildren. A funeral and burial are pending at Prescott, Ariz. Ross, Burke & Knobel Mortuary is in charge of local arrangements. See Also: Find A Grave |
