Virginia Lee (Richter) Ryan

Virginia Lee Ryan, also known as Ginny, passed away peacefully in
her sleep on Aug. 12, 2017. Ginny was born January 23, 1945 to
Joseph and Twilia Richter in Sioux City, IA. Ginny was the middle
child out of 5 girls. She married the love of her life, Clifford
Ryan and together had 4 boys. They raised their children in
California mostly in Whittier. After raising their children, they
moved to Lake Havasu City. Shortly after they relocated she lost her
best friend, Cliff.

Ginny was the most giving person. She loved her family and friends
so much it showed in everything she did. She will be greatly missed
by all who knew her.

Virginia, is survived by her sons; Steve (Misty), Kevin (Tina) and
Jeff (Jennifer); grandchildren; Kyle, Travis (Racheal), Ashley,
Dustin, Jacob, Tanner, Chris, Rebekah, James and Shane; 2 great-
granddaughters who were the light in her life; Lilly and Hanley,
sisters; Joanne (Delton) Britton, Patty (Lyle) McCowan and Dianna
McLaughlin; also, many nieces, nephews and cousins. Virginia was
preceded in death by her parents, youngest sister Connie McLaren,
and her first born child Donald that she lost shortly after he was
born.

A Celebration of her life will be held at her son Jeff’s house on
Oct. 28, 2017 at noon 330 Driftwood Drive with words of
encouragement from Kathy Kenny. Afterwards there will be a potluck.
So, bring a dish or just bring your memories to share. The family
hopes to see a lot of familiar faces.

Services were placed in the care of Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home.
