| Today's News-Herald, Lake Havasu City, AZ >>> Published on Wednesday, October 11, 2017 <<< Brenda Weise, 73, of Lake Havasu City, passed away Saturday October 7, 2017 peacefully surrounded by family members at home. Born Feb. 10, 1944, in Worthington, Minnesota, Brenda Kay (Luft) Weise was the daughter of Raymond and Dorothy Luft. She graduated from Worthington High School, and was united in marriage to David Weise on May 22, 1965. The couple made their home in Anokal/Champlin, Minnesota, Webster Wisconsin, and Lake Havasu City. Brenda loved snowmobiling, fishing, camping, playing cards and bingo. Brenda and Dave were both members of the American Legion in Lake Havasu City. Survivors include her husband David, three sons Brian (Sue) Weise of Maryland, Tom (Laura) Weise of Northfield, Minnesota, Derek (Maggie) Weise of Anoka, Minnesota, daughter Tiffany (Jeff) Cich of Blaine, Minnesota, nine grandchildren, and four great grandchildren, a sister Jean Dammer as well as nieces, nephews, and other extended family members. She was preceded in death by her mother and father and brother Marlin Luft. Brenda was a very strong, loving mother and friend to many people. She was an inspiration for many who have bravely battled cancer, and will be missed by many people. Memorial services to be determined. |
