The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona Sunday, October 1, 2017, page 10a Robert “Bob” O. Morris. Long time Suffern, New York, resident Robert “Bob” O. Morris died on Sept. 24, 2017, in Austin, Texas, of natural causes. He was 86. Bob was born Feb. 25, 1931, in Bridgeport, Connecticut. He served briefly in the Air Force and moved to New York City where he met his wife, Dorothy-Ellen Levy. They were married in 1953 and remained so until Dorothy’s death in 2006. Bob had a long career as a manufacturers representative in the toy industry. His career took him all over the world as he helped open markets for various toy manufacturers. Bob’s first passion was politics and was the consummate behind the scenes advisor and speech writer for his best friend Eugene “Gene” Levy. In 1993, Bob retired and he and Dorothy moved to Prescott, Arizona, where they enjoyed many great years and built lasting friendships. Bob was active in the local community and helped Temple B’rith Shalom with fundraising and other initiatives. Bob is survived by his three adult children, Ken Morris of Ringwood, N.J., Larry Morris of Austin, Texas, and Hope Morris of Nyack, N.Y. Bob had seven grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
