John B. White was called home to be with our Lord on Oct. 22, 2017.
John was born in St. Thomas, Nevada (now covered by Lake Mead), in
1934 to Richard J. and Stella White.

He moved to Arizona with his family as a child and has lived in
Prescott for the last 60 years.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Richard L.
White; his sister, Jewel Leavitt; and his great grandchild, Zoe. He
is survived by his loving wife, Talitha, of 60 years. Also, his
children, Julie Nanke (John) and Richard E. White; three
grandchildren, Jessica Leick (Tom), Jenna Scheidenhem (Galen), and
Jared Nanke (Meghan); five great grandchildren, Logan, Lexa and
Anson Leick, Atticus and Sage Scheidenhem; his sister, Joyce
VanDenAcre; and several nieces and nephews.

John enjoyed his work as a heavy equipment operator and loved flying
his airplane.

John spent his last few years in the loving care of the Arizona
Pioneer Home staff. Memorial contributions may be made to the
Employee Fund at the Arizona Pioneer Home, 300 S. McCormick St.,
Prescott AZ 86303. Private family services have been planned.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Heritage Memory Mortuary.
