| Weekly Journal-Miner, Prescott, Arizona Territory Wednesday, February 10, 1897, page 3, column 3 (From Friday's Daily) The City and County - About 5 o'clock last evening a man named W. J. Barker, aged about 40 years, was found dead in his cabin on Granite creek. It is alleged that he was addicted to morphine and it is supposed that he took an overdose. Transcriber's note: Mr. Barker is buried in an unmarked grave at the Citizens Cemetery in Prescott, Arizona. |
