| Wickenburg Sun (Wickenburg, Arizona) Wednesday, July 12, 2017, p. A-5 Doris Ann Robertson, of Wickenburg, passed away peacefully at home on Monday, July 3, 2017. She was born on Jan. 12, 1932, in Chicago, Ill., to parents Jacob and Anna Balliette. She later married and had three children, Jeffrey, Janet (deceased), and Scott Stirek. Seeking adventure and leaving behind the mid-west snowy winters, she moved her family to Litchfield Park, Ariz. in 1971. During her years in the valley she was employed in office administration and sales. After moving to Wickenburg in the 1980's she worked at the Remuda Ranch, the Wickenburg Senior Center and as a medical billing specialist. She was always drawn to Wickenburg and loved the desert and small town environment. She is survived by her sister Lorraine Feagans, children: Jeffrey Stirek, Scott (Valerie) Stirek, many loving grandchildren and great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews, and a host of longtime friends. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. The family suggests memorial contributions in her memory be made to Hospice of the Valley.
