| The Prescott Courier, Prescott, Arizona Monday, September 29, 1920, page 5, column 5 Health Seeker Dies When Alone On Camp Ground Alone in a tent on the Paradise Valley ranch, E C. Barran, a seeker after health, played his last card against the grim reaper and lost. Mr. Baran came to Arizona six weeks ago from Crestview, Tenn. In the hope that the sunshine and bracing air of the southwest would restore him to his former health and vigor, he was camping out on the ranch when a pulmonary hemorrhage carried him away. His body was discovered Saturday night and Judge Charles H. McLane decided that a coroner' inquest was unnecessary. Relatives of the deceased, who was 30 years of age, have been notified. Transcriber's note: Mr. Barran is buried in an unmarked grave at the Citizens Cemetery in Prescott, Arizona. |
