| Prescott Journal Miner, Prescott, Arizona Tuesday, September 26, 1916, page 3, column 7 Pioneer Woman is Paralysis Victim Mrs. Faustina Barrett, who had been residing with Mr. and Mrs. Nick Schroeder on Oak Creek, was stricken suddenly ill with paralysis on Sunday morning, and a few minutes afterward passed away. Mrs. Barrett had accompanied Mr. and Mrs. Schroeder for a walk and after returning home a few hours later the summons came, with the least warning. Mrs. Barrett was a native of Yavapai, and enjoyed an excellent name for her many generous deeds. The body was brought to this city yesterday and the funeral will take place today from Ruffner's. All pioneers are respectfully invited. Transcriber's note: Mrs. Jackson is buried in an unmarked grave at the Citizens Cemetery in Prescott, Arizona. |
