| Prescott Courier, Prescott, Arizona October 22, 1978 JOHNSTON A. BORN DEATH Funeral services for Johnston A. Born, who died Thursday, Oct 19, 1978 in Prescott will be held tomorrow at 2 p.m. at Saint Thomas Episcopal Church in Cottonwood. Mr. Born, who was 85, was born in Crede, Colorado, Nov. 12, 1892. He moved to Arizona a year later. He lived in Cottonwood for the past 30 years. Mr. Born was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving during World War 1 and was a member of A.E.S. Siberian Occupation Forces. He also belonged to the Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local No. 640 and was a member and past commander of the Burt Black V.F.W. Post No. 7400 in Cottonwood. He is survived by a daughter, Ruth Converse of Yuma, stepson Jack Hayden of Garden Grove, California; stepdaughter Peggy Brown of Yuma; Brothers Devey, Ernest and James all of Prescott, and Frederick of Gerber, California and Ralph of Tucson; two sisters; Helen Royer of Sun City and Mary Noyes of Prescott; and six grandchildren.
