| Prescott Weekly Courier, Prescott, Arizona Territory Friday, October 27, 1905, page 8, column 4 Falls To Death Monday morning, October 16, Thomas A. Hart, a miner employed at the United Verde, fell from the 300 foot level in the old shaft, fell a distance of 400 feet, to the bottom of the shaft, causing his death. Deceased was about 25 years of age and a native of California. He had been in Jerome but a few weeks, having come here with J.J. Shaw to work in the fire district of the mine. His death is an extremely sad one, he leaving a wife and baby to mourn his loss. Jerome Mining News, 21st. |
