Arizona Journal Miner, Prescott, Arizona Territory Friday, July 30, 1909, page 4, column 3 Death Of H.C. Beudery Was Related to a Former Mayor of Los Angeles, Cal. H. C. Beaudery, a well known miner of this section, and for months past an employe of the Scopel hotel, in outside duties, succumbed Tuesday evening, at the Mercy hospital, to an attack of sorosis of the liver. He had been in poor health for some time, and a few days ago was taken to the hospital for treatment. Mr. Beaudery was well known in this city; he enjoyed an excellent reputation, and general regret is being expressed over his death. The funeral expenses will be borne by his former associates at the hotel, Mr. Scopel assuming a large portion of the cost. Deceased was related to a former mayor of Los Angeles of the same name, and is said to have relatives residing in Canada, of which country he was a native, being of French - Canadian parentage. The funeral will be held this afternoon at 4 o'clock, from the undertaking parlors of G. C. Ruffner. Friends and acquaintances are invited. Transcriber's note: Typed as published.
