Shirley D Campbell, passed away on Nov. 6th, 2017, at home with
family and hospice members by her side. She was my partner for the
past 38 years.

She started crocheting for less-fortunate children in the area and
together we started “Blankets 4 Kids”. She was a gifted business
woman, leaving California for Colorado Springs. She opened the first
“Hallmark” store in downtown Colorado Springs in 1978, and named it
“Teddy’s Hallmark”.

Ron and she made their move to the Arizona climate in 1985, residing
in Green Valley. It was there Shirley developed a new skill for “Art
Painting of Wildlife”. We both discovered that we weren’t just ready
for the retirement scene and that brought us to the Prescott area.

Her love for wildlife art continued and she discovered another
talent she had, drawing a set of house plans that now included her
own art studio. The building was now up to Ron. She showed her
wildlife art at the Pippen Museum and downtown on the square. Her
paintings are now on display in our home!

She leaves behind her husband, Ron Campbell, daughter, Diane
Campbell and son, James Lawrence. Her step-children consist of
Dwight Campbell and Denise Morris. Shirley has four grandchildren.

I will miss her dearly and will continue on directing the efforts of
“Blankets 4 Kids” in Yavapai County.

Viewing and services will be on November 16th at 10:00 a.m., at
Sunrise Funeral Home, 8167 Hwy 69, in Prescott Valley.

Interment will follow after the service at Heritage Memorial Park,
12000 E Heritage Memorial Lane, in Dewey Arizona.
