Louis Becke, an old time resident of Lynx creek, died in Prescott
yesterday after a protracted illness.
Deceased was sixty-nine years old and came to Arizona in 1868 with
Jacob Henkle, with whom he was in partnership in the stock business.
The funeral took place from Logan's undertaking parlors and was well
attended by friends of the deceased.

The will of the late Louis Becke was proved and admitted to probate
yesterday.
He bequeathed his property to Fred C. Moore, son of J. M. W. Moore,
and the latter is appointed executor of the estate.
Transcriber's note: Mr. Becke is a Civil War Veteran and is buried
in an unmarked grave at the Citizens Cemetery in Prescott, Arizona.
