| The Prescott Courier, Prescott, Arizona Monday, December 13, 1993, page 2b Walter Berry - Walter Berry, 62, died Friday, Dec. 9, 1993, at the Rio Verde Health Care Center in Cottonwood. He was born Oct. 20, 1931, in Prescott to Clarence Irvin and Elvara Marie (Engle) Berry. Walter was the first client of the Yavapai Rehabilitation Center when it opened almost 19 years ago. He enjoyed socializing and having company. Walter liked to dine out and dance. He especially liked country- western music, and old standards by Roy Rogers and Gene Autry were his favorites. He is survived by his sister, Naomi Byrd and his aunt, Grace May Hubbs, both of Prescott. A Christian burial service will take place at 3 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 14, at the Arizona Ruffner Wakelin Funeral Home. Rev. Fred LeClair, C.M.F. will officiate. Visitation will be from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m., Monday, Dec. 13, at the Arizona Ruffner Wakelin Funeral Home. Concluding services will be held at the Mountain View Cemetery, Prescott. The family suggests contributions be made to Yavapai Rehabilitation Center, 436 N. Washington Ave., Prescott, AZ., 86301.
