| Prescott Morning Courier, Prescott, Arizona Territory Monday, June 11, 1906, page 2, column 2 Local News - Gus Bolin, aged 55 years, died in this city early yesterday morning after a short illness. He was a native of Denmark and had resided in this section for about 30 years. He was quite a prominent citizen in the early days of the Tip Top mine, were he ran a business. He leaves a brother in Washington, D.C., and a younger brother in Phoenix. The funeral arrangements have been deferred awaiting advices from the brothers. The late Gus Bolin was an honorable man, and one who had many friends all over this section. At the time of his death he was interested in promoting mining properties in this county and in the Harcouvaras.
