Arizona Journal-Miner, Prescott, Arizona Tuesday, April 30, 1912, page 5, column 2 Old Resident Dead Herbert (sic) Bonnell, a resident of Dewey, passed away Sunday evening at his home after a long illness due to phthsis. He had been a resident of this county for many years, and was held in the highest esteem by all. He leaves a widow, two young daughters and a son and other relatives. His remains were brought to Prescott yesterday and are at Ruffner's to be prepared for burial. ------------------------------------------------ Arizona Journal-Miner, Prescott, Arizona Thursday, May 2, 1912, page 4, column 5 Bonnell Funeral Was Largely Attended The funeral yesterday of J.(sic) I. Bonnell, whose death occurred at Dewey last Sunday, took place yesterday at Ruffner's chapel. Services were conducted under the Christian Science ritual and interment was given at the Citizens' cemetery. The pallbearers were, M. E. Spaulding, Bud Fitzmaurice, A. J. Doran, Grant Eads, Ed Kiehl and John Kinney. Many friends in this city and outside points were in attendance. Transcriber's note: Mr. Bonnell is buried at the Citizens Cemetery in Prescott, Arizona.
