Today's News-Herald, Lake Havasu City, AZ >>> Published on Thursday, November 30, 2017 <<< Robert L. West, 82, passed away at home in Lake Havasu City on Nov. 20, 2017. Born Nov. 5, 1935 in Great Falls, Montana, he was the son of George W. and Angela L. (Palien) West. Bob was preceded in death by his wife Ginny and his parents. He is survived by his children Jennifer Burnet, Laura (Jack) Kriss, Sheila Lind, and Robert G. West; grandchildren Kathryn Burnet, Erin Burnet, Mallory Kriss, Emily Kriss, Carl Lind, Kayla Jaworksi, Ashley Culkins, Owen West, and Spencer West; siblings Barbara (Tim) Thieme, H. Joseph (Penny) West, and Margie (Ken) Kasper. Bob was a veteran, honorably discharged from both the Navy Reserves and the U.S. Army. Bob enjoyed photographing the outdoors and traveled throughout the Western U.S. during his lifetime . He was appreciative of the support from Hospice during Ginny’s short illness, so his family has asked that donations be made in his memory to the National Park Foundation, www.nationalparks.org , or Hospice of Havasu, www.hospicehavasu.org
