STEVENS,
Patsie Ruth
The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona
Wednesday, November 29, 2017, page 5a
We are saddened to announce the passing of Patsie. She passed away
Nov. 21, 2017, at the age of 91 after a year-long battle with
dementia.
Patsie is survived by her children, Terri and Don; four
grandchildren, Robert, James, Thomas and Jacob. She is also survived
by many nieces and nephews.
Patsie touched the lives of everyone she met. To know her was to
love her. She had a smile that would light up a room.
Patsie will be sorely missed by all that knew her.
Born June 8, 1926, Patsie saw many things in her life, from the
Great Depression to the great recession, and from the Japanese
attacks on Pearl Harbor and the use of the first atomic bomb, to the
attacks on September 11th. She had known war, poverty, strife and
genocide. Patsie had seen many dark times in America’s history. Even
throughout witnessing all these events, she still saw the good in
people.
She never gave up on those that she loved, despite all the mistakes
and wrongdoings they did.
In the end she earned the right to go peacefully in her sleep, and
may she find eternal peace in the embrace of the Lord.
