| The Camp Verde Bugle, Camp Verde, Arizona Thursday, November 30, 2017 Lorraine E. Perez, 70, of Cottonwood, passed away on November 27, 2017. She was born on May 11, 1947 in Jerome, Arizona to Armando Sanchez and Marie Sanchez. Lorraine stayed at home and raised four children, and helped raise 11 grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren. She also was a member of Immaculate Conception Church. Lorraine was preceded in death by her grandmother Josefa B. Sanchez and grandfather Frank C. Sanchez. She is survived by her husband Richard N. Perez; sons Richard Rumaldo Perez, Jose Sanchez Perez (Patti); daughters Laury Ann P. Castillo (Jesus), Lupe Perez (Ramiro) of Imuris, Mexico; brothers Fred Sanchez of Camp Verde, Tony Sanchez (Lavina) of Camp Verde, and Armando Sanchez; Sisters Gertrude and Juanita Smith, Veronica S. Blevins, Ernie Erwin (Kenneth) of Anaheim, California; Thirteen grandchildren, three great-grandchildren. A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, December 1, in the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 700 N. Bill Gray Road, Cottonwood at 11 a.m. Burial will follow in Azteca Lodge Cemetery (Cottonwood Cemetery).
