| Prescott Evening Courier, Prescott, Arizona Friday, January 2, 1948, page 1, column 2 Mrs. I. Brinkmeyer Claimed By Death Mrs. Ina A. Brinkmeyer, 78, wife of the late Henry Brinkmeyer, died New Year's Eve at her home, 605 West Gurley street, where she had lived since 1899. She had been in failing health for some time. Mrs. Brinkmeyer was born in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, Dec. 25, 1869. She came to Prescott in 1890, and was married to Henry Brinkmeyer April 11, 1891. She was for many years a member and active worker in the Western Star Rebekah lodge, No. 9, Prescott. She was also a member of the Golden Rule Chapter, No. 1, Order of Eastern Star. Her family and her home were her chief interests in life. She is survived by a son, Henry; to daughters, Marcella and Caroline; also a sister, Mrs. Herman (Emily) Brinkmeyer; all of Prescott. A brother, Joseph Muzik, of Lang, Saskatchewan, Canada, also survives. Private services will be held at the Lester Ruffner Funeral Home, followed by entombment in the mausoleum in Mountain View cemetery. It is requested that flowers be omitted.
