Signe was born on Feb. 15, 1947 in Hanover, New Hampshire. Complete obit to follow. Signe was born on February 15, 1947 in Hanover, New Hampshire to Sigurd and Lacia Bjorkman. Signe is survived by her husband, Tom; her brothers, John (Karen) Bjorkman; David Randall (Sylvia) Bjorkman; and cousin Jolyon Miller. She is predeceased by her parents, Sigurd and Lucia Bjorkman. Signe grew up in Kansas City, Missouri, and Dallas, Texas. She graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School in Dallas in 1965. She was further educated at OSU and Duke University, earning a degree in Medical Technology by 1970. Signe enjoyed Christmas time. Christmas trips included traveling to Arkansas and North Carolina, spending that time with the Bjorkman family and Colorado with the Cairns family. Signe cherished these memories. Signe was a good Christian and was blessed by God. Signe Christina Bjorkman Cairns touched many, many lives, and she will be missed by one and all. A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, December 12, 2017 at 10 a.m., at St. Paul’s Anglican Church in Prescott. Information provided by survivors. |
