Wickenburg Sun (Wickenburg, Arizona) Friday, March 8, 1963, p. 6 Rites Here For New York Youth To Mrs. Alanson Prentiss of the South Mesa at Rancho de Los Caballeros came the tragic news of the death of her 31-year-old son, Joseph Malcolm McHugh, of a heart attack February 27 in his apartment in New York City. Less than one year go--on May 1, 1962--another son, John Burke McHugh, 24, was killed in an automobile accident in Sacramento, Calif. Joseph Malcolm McHugh was born August 15, 1931 in St. Louis, Mo., and was educated at the Pembroke County Day School in Kansas City and at Georgetown University, Washington, D.C. At the time of his death he was associated with Brown & Cross, New York City real estate brokers. He had visited Wickenburg on several occasions. The body was sent here where funeral services were held at 9 o'clock Monday morning at St. Anthony's Catholic Church, conducted by the Rev. D. F. O'Sullivan. Burial took place in the Wickenburg Cemetery. Surviving, in addition to the mother, are the youth's father, J. L. McHugh of Kansas City; a brother, Jerome P. McHugh of Denver and a sister, Mrs. Robert Arthur of Princeton, N. J.
