RAINS, Charles Thomas (Tom)

Charles Thomas (Tom) Rains, 61 of Winkelman, passed away Thursday, May 9, 2002, at Northwest Medical Center in Tucson. He was born in Phoenix and was a life-long resident of Arizona. He served in the U.S. Navy, was a truck driver by trade and was employed by ASARCO for many years. Survivors include his wife, Cecilia Meyers, of Winkelman; daughters, Deborah Austin of Ark City, Kansas, and Beverley Gomez of Dudleyville, son, Dayle Cruz of Mesa; mother, Agnes Rains of Phoenix; and five grandchildren. Visitation Wednesday, May 15, at Lamont Mortuary Chapel in Globe. Graveside services Thursday, May 16, at Mountain View Cemetery in Hayden. Donations can be made to the family at P.O. Box 114, Winkelman, 85292. Lamont Mortuary of Globe assisted the family with arrangements. 5/14/2002
