Wenden Man Hurt In Mine Cave-In;
Companion Killed

A cave-in at the Love mine in southern Mohave county, some 60 miles northwest of Wickenburg on Thursday, September 10, resulted in the death of one miner and critical injuries to another. Jacinto Medina, 28, a resident of Kingman, was pronounced dead upon arrival at Community Hospital here. His companion, William L. Moore, 26, of Wenden, is in serious condition at the hospital.

Fellow workers at the mine are believed to have brought the two men to the hospital. Their names were not obtained. Moore was unable to give any details of the accident when questioned at the hospital Tuesday.
