| Prescott Evening Courier, Prescott, Arizona Territory Monday, December 29, 1947, page 1, column 2 Anna Burgett Is Taken By Death Mrs. Anna Burgett, 85, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Ceola Hartin, 708 Miller Valley, yesterday. She had been ill for some time. Born in Scranton, Pa., Mrs. Burgett had lived in Arizona and Yavapai county for the past 55 years. Her husband, Frank Leslie Burgett, preceded her in death in 1931. She is survived by four children, Frank and C.H. and Mrs. Ann Richie and Mrs. Ceola Hartin, all of Prescott; also by 12 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren, and three brothers, Charles, Frank and John Embery. A rosary will be said at Ruffner's Funeral Home tomorrow evening at 7 o'clock. Requiem mass will be held in Sacred Heart church at 10 a.m. on Wednesday. Interment will be in Mountain View cemetery. |
